Job Title/Job Code: Assistant Manager
Area:  Strategic Analytics               
Location:  Hyderabad, India

The Strategic Analytics group supports the US Firm across a range of projects related to the firm's strategy, operations and understanding of financial performance. The Assistant Manager would be responsible for data collection and analysis to develop and support the execution of strategic projects across the firm. These analysis efforts are intended to drive improvements in the overall financial performance of the US Firms and/or Enabling Area delivery capabilities.

The Strategic Analytics team typically supports and executes projects in the following areas:

?         Leadership Analysis and Support - supports Finance and Firm leaders with specialized analysis and support for leadership and management meetings
?         Special Projects- the team supports the Enabling areas and Functions in a variety of special projects
?         Advanced Analytics -utilizes complex analytical methods to provide decision support for the Firm Leadership
?         Financial Analysis, Modeling and Reporting -leads analytical projects across the Enabling areas and Functions
?         Scenario Planning -works with the Strategy team in support of scenario planning projects and initiatives

Primary Duties:
Works as a seamless and integrated part of US Project leadership
Able to see the big picture and provides in-depth analysis as required
Assess risks associated with projects and identifies detailed actions required to mitigate them and successfully deliver a project
Able to scope out the resource requirements for projects and provides regular updates on the project status
Manages design and build of complex financial models, as required
Assists with supporting the overall India team including quality control support, managing and delegating regular and ad-hoc assignments and management of those to completion
Provides regular feedback, coaching and mentorship to the India team
Provides active support on any recruiting efforts for the India team

Primary Qualifications:
MBA from a reputed institute with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in an accounting, corporate finance, operations or consulting role, preferably in a global organization
Must have experience in managing teams
Must possess a client-service mindset. Will proactively investigate and mitigate risks, coordinating with team members and others to resolve issues and escalate issues as needed
Must have clear and concise verbal and written communication. Must be able to communicate at all levels of the management of the Firm
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access for financial analytics and data modeling and PowerPoint for executive-level presentations
Experience working or able to become proficient quickly with SAP or other financial systems is preferred
Requires a strong knowledge of Finance and Financial Analysis with good problem solving skills, analytical and quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning
Should be able to work effectively with minimal oversight in a team environment to significantly contribute to the success of the overall team's delivery
Candidates must demonstrate maturity, executive presence, and a meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work within the pressure of short turnaround and tight deadlines.
