Walk-in-interview will be held on 21-08-2013, at 10.00 a.m. at this Institute for engagement of the following manpower to work on contractual basis in the time-bound project, “Strengthening of Digital Library and Information Management under NARS (e-GRANTH)”, under Component-1 of National Agricultural Innovation Project (NAIP), being run at the Academy, on a consolidated monthly remuneration. The duration of contractual
engagement of the manpower is co-terminus with the project :

Educational Qualifications :
1) SRF (A): Essential: Masters’ Degree in Library Science /Information Science / Documentation with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent grade points average from a recognized University.
2) SRF (B): Essential: Masters’ Degree in Computer Science / Computer Applications with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent grade points average from a recognized University.
2) Desirable Qualifications : For SRF: A & B : Work experience in digitization and computerization of libraries, especially with library management software(s) and digital library software. Relevant open standards and protocols and/or in any international tandards in machine readable catalogue, i.e., MARC, Resource sharing protocol like Z39.50 etc.
The candidates fullfilllling the above criteria may appear for the wallk-in-interview allong with their resume/CV and originall certificates, inclluding experience certificates, if any, with a set of photocopies of the same. Candidates reporting after 10.00 a.m. will not be onsidered for the walk-in-interview. The above position is purelly temporary and co-terminus with the project. The sellected candidates willll have to join immediatelly and NO TA/DA willll be paid to attend the interview.
